Video Games: In the Beginning

So for X-mas Kim got me a very good book about a great man that I have been wanting to read about.  The book is titled Video Games: In the Beginning by Ralph H. Baer.  I'm about a quarter way through the book so far and it is very interesting to read about how video games started and where they originated from.  I know there is quite a bit of controversy around this topic, but I have to say that this book pretty much gives you all the evidence you need to understand who the real father of video games was and it was without a doubt Ralph H. Baer.  One of the reasons I think that I am so interested in this is because my very first video game console was an Odyssey 2.  To this day I can remember playing all of the games I had and not being able to put down the joysticks because every game was just so much fun to play.  From all the sports games to strategy games and video/board game hybrids, the console was just a lot of fun.
